Dr. Mark Speich, sekretar shteti i landit Nordrain Westfalia për Çështje Federale dhe Evropiane, Ndërkombëtare dhe Media, së bashku me bashkëpunëtorët e tij, znj. Dr. Charlotte Lüft dhe znj. Eva Durstewitz-Marschall, si dhe bashkëpunëtorin e Ambasadës Gjermane në Prishtinë për çështje ekonomike, z. Kushtrim Nimani, me datën 11.09.2024 vizituan Kompaninë DAAKONN Investment në Ferizaj.
The guests were welcomed by the owner of DAAKONN Investment, Mr. Nazmi Viqa, along with his staff and associates.
Nazmi Viqa, while thanking the guests for their visit, informed them about the construction project "Baci Towers," which is increasingly becoming an iconic landmark in the city of Ferizaj.
The attendees were informed about the seriousness of the work on this massive project, which is being constructed in the center of Ferizaj with the highest German building standards.
Mr. Viqa shared part of his challenging journey from Kosovo to Germany, highlighting the work he and the Viqa brothers did in Germany, as well as his determination to invest in his homeland.
It was a unique opportunity to inform the representatives of the German state about the professional work being carried out in Ferizaj, while also emphasizing the commitments and renowned projects in Germany.
Dr. Mark Speich was also very appreciative and thankful for the warm reception and the opportunity to witness firsthand the remarkable work of a businessman from Kosovo, who had decided to reinvest his experience, knowledge, and part of his finances into his homeland.
Speich also expressed gratitude for the contribution of the Viqa family in Germany through their renowned company AWR ABBRUCH in Koblenz, as well as the other companies of the Viqa brothers, who, with a staff of over 350 employees, are strongly positioned in the German market and serve as an example for many other companies and compatriots living in the West. He was impressed with the project in Ferizaj, comparing it to the best projects in Germany.
The Republic of North Rhine-Westphalia, as one of the federal states with a highly developed industry and over 18 million inhabitants, has many Albanians from Kosovo and the surrounding regions who stand out every day for their commitment and work in developing and strengthening the German economy, Dr. Speich emphasized among other points. What is particularly noteworthy is when well-known entrepreneurs are willing, alongside their investments in Germany, to extend these investments to their homeland as well.
Such examples will also be supported by the German state, as they create bridges between the two countries. In addition to cultural exchange, they facilitate the exchange of economies between these two nations, creating very sustainable opportunities that connect these two friendly peoples.
In addition to presenting the "Baci Towers" project, Mr. Viqa, through his associates, Mr. Shenur Ibrahimi and Mr. Fadil Abdullahu, informed the guests about the activities of the Albanian-German Business Union, where Mr. Nazmi Viqa serves as the Chairman of this association.
The goals of the association continue to be the strengthening of economic relations among businesses and the elevation of their representation, not only before German institutions and associations but also before those in Kosovo.
The attendees committed to contributing in the future to ensure that these investments expand into other areas, involving many other businesses that are eager to actively broaden their activities.
“Success creates connections” was indeed the motto of the Business Union, which is yielding its results.
The guests were briefly informed about some of the features offered by the city of Ferizaj and its surroundings, and beyond.
Germany, as a friendly country to Kosovo, continues to be the largest investor in Kosovo.
